Elizabeth (Betty)* Crouch
- Born: Abt 1698, Somerset Co., MD
- Marriage (1): John Reddish about 1728 in Somerset Co., MD
- Died: After 1762, Somerset Co., MD
*Not certain that Reddish's wife, Elizabeth, is the daughter of Robert Crouch but good probability (80%). Lots of evidence in the old court records to support that she was indeed a Crouch and, if so, probably a daughter of Robert. Roger Phillips, in the main body of his will written in Oct 14 1698, names his daughter Elizabeth Crouch and granddaughter "Elizabeth Crouch Junior" This researcher believes that the Elizabeth Crouch Junior was the "Betty" Reddish who married John Reddish. More research needed.
On May 31 1762 Hiram Reddish (of Worcester) sold 40a of tract "Castle Haven" to John Reddish "where Elizabeth Reddish now lives." (SoLR-C:126) so Elizabeth Reddish was still living at the time.
Elizabeth married John Reddish about 1728 in Somerset Co., MD. (John Reddish was born about 1695 and died about 1740 in Somerset Co., MD.)
