His household in 1840 Somerset is 101010001000-1000100000000 indicating he is age 60-70 and he probably has a younger family living with him.

It seems his wife Frances (Frankey) Malone died prior to 1820 and he never remarried.

William married Frances (Frankey) Goslee, daughter of Joseph Goslee and Priscilla (?), on 05 Nov 1799 in Somerset Co., MD.¹ (Frances (Frankey) Goslee was born about 1780 in Somerset Co., MD and died before 1820 in Somerset Co., MD.)
