On Nov 27 1767, Robert Malone had a resurvey done on the 100a portion of "Goddards Folly" his father had purchased in 1737 and called the new tract "Malones Chance" for 115.5a. On it is listed the following improvements: 118 small peach trees, an old round log'd house 16x9, 7 small apple trees, 100 panels of old fence 7 logs high and 5 acres of cultivated land.

In 1780, Robert Malone is listed in the Salisbury Battalion, Mill Creek Co., Maryland militia during the Revolution.

A bond for Robert Malone's estate was granted on May 1 1787. An accounting was conducted Jun 29 and Aug 17 1789 that mentions distribution to his administratrix, Mrs. Ann Stevens Malone and 7 children Stephen, Mary, William, Robert, George, Peter and Ann Stevens Malone.
