On Nov 27 1767, Robert Malone had a resurvey done on the 100a portion of "Goddards Folly" his father had purchased in 1737 and called the new tract "Malones Chance" for 115.5a. On it is listed the following improvements: 118 small peach trees, an old round log'd house 16x9, 7 small apple trees, 100 panels of old fence 7 logs high and 5 acres of cultivated land. Robert married Anne Stevens Kibble, daughter of William Kibble and Hannah Stevens, about 1769 in Somerset Co., MD. (Anne Stevens Kibble was born on 01 Jan 1746 in Somerset Co., MD 2 and died after 1798 in Somerset Co., MD.) |
