On Aug 24 1797, William Smullen sold to Peter Smullen and John Scarborough (son of Samuel), for 5 pounds, 50a of land called "Smullens Puzzle" originally surveyed for a certain Randall Smullen. (WoLR-S:3). On Oct 8 1802, William Smullen sold Peter Smullen land 58a total, "Indian Ridge" and part of "Addition to Indian Ridge" and 34a of "Branch Lot" and "Addition" for 50 pounds (WoLR-V:233).
On May 16 1806, Peter Smullen sold for $500 to William W. Gray, all of "New Timber Quarter" conveyed to Peter by Elizabeth Scarborough (WoLR-Y:144).
Orphans of Peter Smullen; Maria Scarborough Smullen, William Quinton Smullen, James Edward Smullen, were assigned guardian Sally Smullen (their mother) on Apr 11 1815 in Worcester Co. Sureties were William Fooks and Ephraim Smullen. (WoOCP-MH17:364-365).
