On Dec 7 1825, Sally Turner, wife of William Turner, purchased land from Anthony B. Bennett for $240. It was part of the tract "White Plains" in Somerset Co., MD and described as beginning at a marked red oak that is the first bounder of tract "Stand Off" and running with the first line of "Stand Off" N62E32 then S84E8 with 2nd line of "Stand Off" to a road laid off for Eben Disharoon leading from the land belonging to his heirs to the county road then with that road N7W80 then S73.5W95.5 with the 4th line of tract "Shave The Bald Friar" then N88.5W51 with the 5th line of same tract to home line of tract "Crouchs Desire" then S36W68 to home line of tract "Mears Chance" then S52.25E82 reversing said home line then NE50 then back to first bounder laid out for 61.5a. (SoLR-GH3:81). In modern day (2020), this land is about 1/2 mile NW of the point where US 13 and the US 13 bypass merge south of Fruitland, MD = about 1/4 mile SE of the intersection of Walnut Tree and Allen Roads.

In 1865, her husband William Turner purchased a one acre lot on the road between Upper Trappe (Allen), MD and Eden Station.

On Apr 26 1873, James/Julia Acworth, William/Hester A. Jones, Samuel/Charlotte Williams and Mary Carey heirs of Sally Turner, sold 13a of land for $100 to Louisa Jones, land in Wicomico Co., MD bordered land sold to Sally Turner by Anthony Bennett (Note: see SoLR-GH3:81, Dec 7 1825, 61.5a) and William Jones' lot. (WiLR-TFJR3:380). On the 1877 maps of the area, it shows "Mrs. Turner" on the Princess Anne District map at the far north, just SE of Upper Trappe.
