bullet  Notes:

Most likely that Hester is d/o William and Sarah (Disharoon) Turner based upon circumstantial evidence plus support of the 1840 Census, Middle District, Somerset Co., MD. There, William Turner seems to have six (6) daughters viz, 2 are under age 5 (born 1835/40), 2 are age 5 to under 10 (born 1830/35), 1 is age 10 to under 15 (born 1825/30) and 1 is age 15 to under 20 (born 1820/25). Three of them are accounted for in 1850 - Juliet (b1830), Charlotte (b1836), Sally (b1833) - Disharoon Descendants states there was a Mary with unk dates and there are two missing! If we believe the 1840 census, then the flowing hypothesis works out

William Turner's daughters in 1840:
One age 15/20 - Louisa J. Turner (b 1824/26) One age 10/15 - Hester Ann Turner (b 1828/30) Two age 05/10 - Juliet Turner (b 1830), Sally Turner (b 1833) Two age 00/05 - Charlotte Turner (b 1836), Mary Turner (unk but could be b 1835/40) - she married Samuel Williams on 8/22/1855.

The proximity of this Turner family was near the James/William Jones areas and was the only Turner family like that.

Jones to William Turner Jones, a lot of land in Wicomico Co., MD where William resides beginning at a white gum in a field the end of the 1st line of a lot I have this day deeded to my son Samuel J. Jones land, thence with same S23E 21.5 poles to an apple tree near Hester A. Jones house, thence S52E 22 poles to the white gum of the beginning. Also 2/3 the acre of the land of the N end of this field, 1/3 taken by Samuel and 2/3 by William Jones. The total of the lots is 7a. (WiLR-JTT9:57)
