William Watts
William Watts had been given the land tract "Newport Panell" via deed of gift on Oct 19 1724 from his parents John/Priscilla Watts. It appears that he never lived on the land as he bequeathed it to his son William Watts in his LW&T in 1743, while still residing in Accomack Co., VA. William married Comfort Scarborough, daughter of Col. Henry Scarborough and Winifred Taylor, about 1730 in Accomack Co., VA. (Comfort Scarborough was born about 1705 in Accomack Co., VA and died after 1743 in Accomack Co., VA.) |
