1800 Census is HOH in Worcester Co., MD with 10100-10100. NOTE: in 1800, Edmund Cropper's three sons who received land in his 1799 will, Edmund Jr., John and Josiah are living next to one another in Worcester Co. 1810 Census is HOH in Worcester Co., MD with 30010-11010. In 1820, there is a listed for Josiah Cropper but the count numbers are all zeroed out. The original listing looks to have been 000110-10100. Not sure why the zeroing out unless Mr. Cropper decided to move away with his family during this time or it was just an errant listing. There is another Josiah Cropper household in 1820 Worcester Co. as 110110-20200.

Josiah married (Daughter)* Porter, daughter of Samuel* Porter and Holland Cropper, about 1810. ((Daughter)* Porter was born about 1788 in Worcester Co., MD and died in 1816 in Worcester Co., MD.)
