Peter Malone

On Aug 10 1790, Thomas Whaland was named guradian to orphan George Stevens Kibble of George, over age 14. Sureties by John Evans of John and Peter Malone, (SoOCP-1777/92:095). On Nov 16 1791, Peter Malone sold 2a of land in "Malones Lot" bordering "Monsham" to Elizabeth White, widow of Isaac White for 40 shillings (SoLR-I:271). On Dec 5 1795, he sold 20a of land in "Addition to Malones Lot" to Obed Bailey for 20 pounds (SoLR-K:296)
In the Direct Tax of 1798, Peter Malone is listed as owner and occupant of land adjoining Bennett's Neck and Bordwine Bailey with a dwelling house of hewed logs 28x16 much out of repair, an old kitchen of round pole 16x12, a smokehouse 8x8 and an old barn of round poles 20x16. He is also the owner of a house 18x16 next door occupied by Stephen Malone.
