William Brickhouse ¹

He inherited land in 1713 at tract N63 (see Whitelaw), Sea Side east of Marionville, Northampton Co, VA. His part of this tract was called 400a of Cow Neck in the will of his father George Brickhouse, and it is the upper part of what is now Brickhouse Neck. William Brickhouse inherited land before 1735 at tract N63, Sea Side east of Marionville, Northampton Co, VA. According to Whitelaw, John Brickhouse had died without issue and title passed to his brother William who sold to Matthew Harmanson, it being called "the outward part of Fowling Point."

William Brickhouse wrote his will on Nov 3 1760 and it was proven on Dec 9 1761 in Northampton Co., VA:
- To son Hezekiah, my plantation and negroes Cuck, James and executor
- To daughter Adah Sturgis, negores Janey and Daniel
- To daughter Gaty Williams, bed and furniture
- To grandson Elias Williams, negro girl Sarah d/o of Pegg
- To grandson Chrles Williams, negro wench Pegg
- If both Charles and Elias die w/o heirs, then theirs to grandsons William Sturgis and Hilary Warren
- To grandson Hilary Warren, negro girl Violater
- To daughter Mary Pettitt, negro wench Sarah, d/o Judah
- To daughter Kazia Bell, negro boy Ephraim and giel Pleasant
- To grandson Moses Brickhouse, negro girl Sarah, d/o Janey

William married Abigail Bell. (Abigail Bell was born about 1701 in Northampton Co., VA.)
