She bought land on Sep 11 1688 at Millbranch, south side Pocomoke River, Somerset Co (present day Worcester Co), MD. George Russell of Somerst Co, MD and Sarah his wife, sold to Mary Major of Accomack Co, VA, Widow-Sale- 200 acres of land being one half of 400a called Millbranch, as by patent dated Sep 10 1684 will more largely appear, being on the East Side of Chesapeake Bay on the south side of Pocomoke River a little above Matapeny, and being the northern half of the said 400 acres, to begin at Pocomoke River and so extending according to its length and breadth unto Thomas Major's land, son of William Major, dec'd.

Mary married William Major, son of John Major and Jane Larrimore. (William Major was born about 1640 in Northampton Co., VA and died before 03 Jun 1684 in Northampton Co., VA.)
