In 1820, Reuben is in ED2, Somerset Co. as 300010-10010. No 1830 Somerset is extant. In 1840 as James Washburn in Middle District, Somerset Co. at 1011001100000-01100010000000. Then we see James Washburn, age 70 in Trappe, Somerset Co. in 1850.
On Nov 18 1854, Ruben Washburn purchased land from Isaac/Mary Anderson for $118, 10a of land part of tract "White Hall" on the county road that runs from the Upper Ferry to Upper Trappe. (SoLR-LW3:284).
James married Mary Marshall? about 1813. (Mary Marshall? was born about 1783 and died in 1824-1833.)
