This William Denston and his children seem to drift over more deeply into Somerset Co., MD than the other Denston's of the time. Rachel Denston inherits "Misfortune" from her father Isaac Denston in 1773 and, on Sep 28 1779, Rachel (Denston) Townsend sells part of it to her brother, William Denston, 17.75a of "Misfortune" from William Townsend (of Worcester) et ux. Rachel (Denston) Townsend, for £3 (SoLR-G:200).
He is listed in the Princess Ann Company of the Princess Anne Battalion in the 1780 muster during the American Revolution.
