In the 1820 Census, Phillip Donoho is listed as head of a household in Election District 1, Somerset county with 200010-00011 and 4 male and 5 female slaves of various ages. This positions him as a fairly large slaveowner with his age 26-44 at the time.
Phillip M. Donoho is listed as guardian in Somerset Co. to John L.W. Stanford on Dec 14 1819 and several other times lasting until May 11 1824 and Mar 29 1825 (SoOCP-1811/23:098 and 1823/29:077,113). But Priscilla Donoho is named as his guardian Oct 24 1826 (Ibid:186). This narrows the death date for Phillip Donoho to the time between Mar 29 1825 and Oct 24 1826. An inventory of his estate was conducted on Apr 11 1826 thus narrowing the range even more.
