Priscilla Brannon

Priscilla Brannon-Stanford-Donoho lost two husbands to death very early in their lives. Her first, Joghn Stanford died within a couple of years of them getting married in 1813. She remarried to Phillip Donoho in 1818 and he died in late 1825 or early 1826. She never remarried and is living as a widow as late as the taking of the 1850 census.

Phillip M. Donoho is listed as guardian in Somerset Co. to John L.W. Stanford on May 11 1824 and Mar 29 1825 (SoOCP-1823/29:077,113). Priscilla Donoho is named as his guardian Oct 24 1826 after Phillip had passed away (Ibid:186). Priscilla is then listed as guardian to Azariah W. and William D. Donoho "of Phillip M." when John Austin and Henry Dorman are assigned to examine the minor's estate on May 23 1827 and Jan 28 1828 (Ibid:220,279)

SoLR-WP1:142 about her security to sell land and negro Solomon to pay son William his rightful inheritance when he reaches "of age" if she does not.

Priscilla married John Stanford, son of Thomas Stanford and Amelia Disharoon, on 03 May 1813 in Somerset Co., MD. (John Stanford died in 1817-1818 in Somerset Co., MD.)

Priscilla next married Phillip Murray Donoho, son of Joshua Donoho and Sarah Murray, on 01 Dec 1818 in Somerset Co., MD. (Phillip Murray Donoho was born about 1790 in Somerset Co., MD and died 29 Mar 1825-11 Apr 1826 in Somerset Co., MD.)
