However, Jacob, in his will only seems to account for the children of he and Nelly: Thomas, Betsey and Josiah - there is no John listed nor the children of his first wife Rebecca Pollitt. This leads this compiler to surmise that John Morris, while still a son of Jacob, was from Jacob's first marriage to Rebecca Pollitt.
