On Mar 13 1816 Samuel Wiltbank and wife Augusta and Edward Heavelo sold land for $200 to John D. Smith, all of New Castle Co., DE, This land was that which Hannah Heavelo bequeathed to sons John, Edward and Roderick Heavelo located in Broadkill Hundred, Sussex Co. and adjoins land of John G. Conwell, Milby Simpler, Samuel Cade and others. John Heavelo to get one 1/2 share, and Edward and Roderick to get one 1/4 share of the land each. Roderick since died intestate without issue so his share fell to Samuel Wiltbank and Augusta his wife. (SxLR-AI32:548)

In the 1816-1817 Tax Assessment for New Castle Co., DE, Samuel Wiltbank is listed in New Castle Hundred and taxed for "his person" and some livestock. An S. Wiltbanks, presumably this Samuel, is listed under 200 acres of James Riddle as "in ten. of S.
