Jonathan Waller F:346 18 Oct 180804 Nov 1808 "being sick and weak in body . . ." 1. Jonathan Waller --son (eldest son) -to have the testator' plantation and land whereon the testator now lives called COCKLAND which is to say all the lands the testator holds on the easternmost side of a line drawn so as to have two thirds of the new wood land between Jonathan's lands and the land formerly held and owned by David Pritchard -to have Negro boy "Peter" -to have the testator's large still and 2 of the casks and all the residue of the testator's cider making apparatus with 2 of the testator's right, and title of the mill and land called FOOTHOLD near where Ezekiel Gillis now lives 2. Phillis Waller --wife -to have Negro man "Dennis" and Negro boy "Charles" and Negro girl "Jane" -named executrix along with testator's eldest son Jonathan 3. William Waller --son -to have all the land which the testator purchased from Denwood Turpin whereon the testator's son Jonathan now lives and also to have 2 of the mill and land called FOOTHOLD where Ezekial Gillis now lives and the testator's right and title to the lands where George Relph now lives on condition that the said George does not pay for the land in any reasonable time and should he do so, then William to have the money -to have the testator's small still and 2 of the casks and to have 1 bed and furn., 1 cow and calf 4. Jonathan Gillis --grandson Elizabeth Gillis --granddaughter children of daughter Sarah Gillis -to have all that part of a tract of land whereon their father George Gillis now lives being part of a tract of land called WILSONS VENTURE that is the profits thereof and also after the expiration of 5 years from the testator's death the 2 of the profits of the testator's right and title to a mill and land called DOUBLE MILLS and before that time, the profits of the said mill and lands to be applied to their maintenance and education until they arrive at age 21 5. Sarah Gillis --granddaughter Samuel Gillis --grandson Peter Gillis --grandson children of daughter Nanny Gillis Jonathan Gillis --grandson -to have the profits arising from that tract of land whereon their father Ezekiel Gillis now lives and also at the end of 5 years from the testator's death to have the other 2 of the profits from the testator's right and title to DOUBLE MILLS and that the 2 of the said profits be applied to their maintenance and education until they come of age 21 and after they arrive at the age of 21, the said lands to be sold and the money from the sale to be divided equally between them -all the remainder of the testator's estate not given is to be sold and the money from the sale applied to the payment of testator's debts and the money left over should then be equally divided among the children of Sarah Gillis and Nanny Gillis 6. Mary Waller --daughter -to have all the testator's right and title to the lands formerly held and owned by Thomas Moore and 2 of the testator's right and title to the Black Water Mill -to have Negro boy "Sandy" -to have 1 bed and furn., and 1 cow and calf 7. Rachel Waller --daughter -to have all the testator's right and title to the residue of the testator's land not herein devised which was formerly owned by David Pritchard and all the testator's right and title to the land formerly held and owned by John Pritchard along with the residue of the testator's right and title to the Black Water Mill -to have Negro boy "George" -to have 1 bed and furn., 1 cow and calf. 8. George Moore --son of John Moore -to have all the testator's right and title to a tract of land called COCKLAND lying on the west side of the main or county road leading from Black Water to Laurel Town lately held by his father John Moore Witnesses: Arthur Dashiell Thomas Dashiell George Relph Abraham Cooper (mark) Addendum to the will: 1.
