07 Apr 1824, probated 03 Oct 1834 -- (WoW-LPS:028) Will -- John Hayman, Worcester Co. -to son James Hayman, part of a tract called Hopewell except that part I shall hereafter give to two of my grandchildren, all my part of Haymans Addition, all my part of Fortunatus, and a tract called Venture. -to daughters Leah and Molly, a tract called Devision, a tract called Flat Ridge, and my part of a tract called Friendship, and after their deaths said lands to my grandson Henry Purnell Hayman. -to grandchildren Thomas Handy Hayman and Elizabeth Hayman, that part of a tract called Hopewell which lieth on the south side of the following line [description]. -to granddaughter Edath. -to grandson James R. Hayman. -all the residue of my proper of whatsoever nature to be equally divided between son Cornelious Hayman, son Levin Hayman, son James Hayman, son Handy Hayman, daughter Molly Hayman, and daughter Leah Hayman. -I appoint Eliza Ennis and Doctor James Stewart to divide my property between my children agreeable to this my will. -witnesses: John Puzey, John Hitch (dead), George Carey.

Hayman of Somerset Co. sold to James Bounds of Worcester Co. for $120 - 108 acres of Riggins Addition beginning at the first boundary of said tract, lying and bing on the north side of an old mill branch known by the name of Denson's Mill Branch and on the east side bounded by Dividing Creek Branch formerly the property of John Hayman and wife of Worcester Co.
John married Eda Riggin, daughter of Cornelius Riggin and Unknown, before 1779. (Eda Riggin died before 1801 in MD.)
