In 1798, Elizabeth Miles is listed as owner/occupant of land reversion to Matthias Miles in Manokin Hundred, dwelling house of wood 20' x 20' one story 2 windows, kitchen 16' x 16', smokehouse 10' x 10', corn house 12' x 6', 692a, $1380.
Elizabeth Miles wrote her will Mar 17 1800 and it was probated in Somerset Co. Sep 13 1803:
-To son Matthias, negro man York and to be executor
-To grandson Samuel Pollitt of William, £300 in bonds and notes when he reaches age 21
-To Betsy Lankford, plain linen bed, sheets and old green rug
-Rest of estate to grandchildren with George Miles' children to share his portion as if he was living. Matthias Miles, Betsy Jones, Molly Miles, Nancy Miles, Peggy Pollitt, Tubman Pollitt, Molly Pollitt, William Pollitt and William Miles of Samuel. Betsy Jones in her part shall have one bed/furniture and Molly Miles to have negro girl Leah and Betsy Pollitt to have old black clock and Calimines pettycoat
