Laurel - Mrs. Helen F. Hitch, 87, of Laurel died last night in her home on Central Ave. She was the widow of Dr. Gaylord A. Hitch, a Laurel dentist who died in 1930. Mrs. Hitch, born in Waterloo, Pa., was the daughter of John P. and Mary Filbert. She had lived there most of her life. She was a charter member and past president of the Laurel New Century Club. Her survivors include a daughter, Imogene F. Hyland of Laurel, a son, Filbert M. Hitch of Salisbury, and two grandchildern, Gayl and Jack Hyland. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Philip's Episcopal Church, Laurel, by the Rev. A. Hugh Dickinson, rector. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
