To son James Dashiell: the land that belongs to testator lying below the mouth of a small gut issuing out of the east branch of Wetipquin Creek that is between where testator now lives and the land that was purchased from Thomas Shirmen beginning at the mouth of the said branch and running up and with the branch about 50 yards above the bridge ... then eastward until it intersects the head line of a patent called DASHIELLS PURCHASE
To son William Dashiell: land left to James should James die without issue. Land left to Joseph should Joseph die without issue. A gun. Negro Jacob if widow remarries.
To son Joseph Dashiell: the upper part of DASHIELLS PURCHASE
To three sons: a right to the great marsh given to testator by his father, the testator's still is to be shared by surviving sons.
To daughter Sarah Dashiell: gold ring, feather bed and furniture, as good as any in the house. A colt that the black mare is now in foal with.
To daughter Peggy Dashiell: gold ring, feather bed and furniture, cow and calf, colt which is to be delivered to her when she arrives at the age of 14.
To daughters Sarah and Peggy: Negro girl Mercer. Each a black walnut table.
To wife Isabel Dashiell: bay mare, woman's saddle and bridle, a pair of gold buttons. Use of Negro man Jacob for her widowhood. Not to be put to her thirds during her widowhood until sons come of age.
Executrix: wife Isabel Dashiell.
Witnesses: Joseph Dashiell, Jesse Dashiell, Daniel Day.
