C:244 ELIZABETH SHARP 09/06/1780 10/12/1780 "being very sick and weak in body . . ." Bequeaths to: 1. Ann Sharp --daughter -to have 1 walnut desk and 2 of the pewter--except for 2 plates--and 3 earthenware plates, 1 bed and furn., 1 small iron pot and trammell and 2 of the knives, forks, and chairs, 1 loom and tackle, 1 pied cow and 3 head of sheep, 1 box iron and 1 pair of stillards, 1 bottle and 1 butter pot. 2. Comfort Sharp -daughter; to have the other 2 of the pewter --except for 2 plates-- 1 bed and furn., standing in the small room below stairs, 1 case of drawers and the other 2 of the knives and forks, 1 red cow and yearling, 3 head of sheep and 2 earthen ware plates and 2 cups , brass kettle and frying pan, 1 earthen tea pot. Ann and Comfort to have each 1 linen wheel and the remainder of the wool and also the yarn and thread to be equally divided between them 3. Joshua Sharp -son; to have 1 bed and furn., 1 large iron pot, 2 pewter plates and a bond the testatrix has from William Salmons for 12 pounds, 4 head of sheep. 4. Mary Messick -daughter; to have 1 walnut table and 1 small red cow and yearling 5. Thomas Sharp -son; to have the whole part of the standing crop of corn he is concerned in and 1 work steer and also a debt the testatrix has in John Wingate's hands for 50 bushels of corn, 1 small pied heifer 3 grasses old and 3 head of sheep and 2 fleeces of wool. Remainder of the estate to be divided between Thomas, Ann, Comfort, Joshua and Mary, named executor of the will. 6. James Sharp, William Sharp, Peter Sharp -sons; each to have 1 shilling sterling Witnesses: Paul Thoroughgood, Benjamin Phillips Then came: the two above named subscribers to the will.
