Peter was born before 11 August 1661 at Hungars Parish, Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that Peter, son of Robert and Susanna Watson, was baptized. He was on the list of tithables at Accomack Co, VA, in 1689. There were two Robert Watsons on the tithable list this year. One was shown as Robt. Waston with 5 tithes and the other Robt. Watson Jr. with 1 tith. There was also a Peter Waston with 1 tith and all three were on Mr. Bally's List. He was on the list of tithables at Accomack Co, VA, in 1690. Peter died before 1696 at Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that John Shepherd executed formal deeds to his daughters, to confirm their respective rights, conveying to his eldest daughter Ann, now the widow of Peter Watson, the 550 acres patented by William Jordan.

Peter married Ann Shepherd, daughter of John Shepherd and Elizabeth Jordan, about 1690 in VA. (Ann Shepherd was born about 1673 in Accomack Co., VA and died after 1728 in Accomack Co., VA.)
