Obedience made a will on Apr 18 1766 at Northampton Co, VA and it was proven on Dec 8 1767. To the heirs of my dau. Hamutual Rodgers wife of Jackson Rodgers all my land; for want of heirs to Richard Parramore, then to Thomas Parramore, and then to James Ashby son of Ezekiel Ashby. Remainder of estate to children of my dau. Hamutual when they are of lawful age. Jackson Rodgers to have no part of estate. If dau. Hamutual dies without heirs then all my estate except land to be div. by Esra Parramore, Richard Parramore, Thomas Parramore, Keziah Parramore, and Bridget Parramore and James Ashby.
