Dwelling plantation at widow's decease or remarriage. To son James Phillips: Negro boy Sambo. Two-thirds of moveable estate at remarriage or decease of widow, and when he arrives at the age of 21. To be bound out to a trade as his mother sees fit or apprenticed to the sea. Remainder of personal estate to be divided between John and James. Negro wench Merren and riding horse Brandy be sold to discharge debts. Executors: widow Alice Phillips, Thomas Holbrook, William Pullet. Witnesses: William Giles, George Bennett, John Dawson. Widow Alce Phillips elected her lawful thirds, real and personal.
