George H. Wiltbank
- Born: 1818-1819, DE 1
- Marriage (1): Josephine (?) about 1852 in LA
- Died: 02 Mar 1862, New Orleans, Orleans Parish, LA 2
**Not sure of this connection George to Cornelius Wiltbank as his father or his son, but this George was in New Orleans in 1862, the only Wiltbank family known there at the time (as was Cornelius).
EDIT: George Wiltbank is confirmed to be a half-sibling of David S. Wiltbank through DNA. It begs the question whether he is an illegimate child of Rebecca Wiltbank or, was Cornelius married a 2nd time between 1811-1818? There is a gap between the chidren that may indicate that.
G.H. Wiltbank is listed as a stable keeper in New Orleans in the 1850 census. His probate records are extant with wife, Josephine, minor chidren William (11), Cornelius (6) and George (9). William is lined through...filed Mar 19 1862. Later, it also mentions other minors named "Wilmington" and an infant of age about 9 month. "Wilmington" is age 9 and may be a corruption of William where the infant is daughter Ardina. Josephine is then referred to as Mrs. Josephine Guerin.
George married Josephine (?) about 1852 in LA. (Josephine (?) was born in 1833 in LA and died after 1920 in LA.)
