On Apr 26 1783, John Smock sold land to McKimmey Smock for 5 shillings. This is land that a certain John Smock, an ancestor of said John Smock Sr., had granted to him "Bachelors Lot" lying a being in Worcester "(hen Summersit)" on Oct 25 1677. On what appears to be the same day (the date is not filled in), McKimmey Smock for love and good will gifts to John Smock land "Conveniency" (WoLR-K:522). On Dec 30 1783, McKimmey Smock and wife Rachel sold to Parker Selby tract "Bachelors Lot" for 500 pounds of late parcel of William Smock (WoLR-K:578).
On Jul 18 1791, McKimmey Smack of Kent County Delaware and William Smack of Spotsylvania in Virginia on one part and Cornelius Morris on the other part, the former sold for 230 pounds parts of two tracts "Pennewells Purchase" (40a) and "Smocks Purchase" (117.5a) to Morris. (WoLR-O:163)
On Jun 7 1797, McKimmey Smack of Kent Co., DE sold to George Truitt Sr. of John for 200 pounds, 20a of "Smocks Purchase" and 30a of "Pennewells Purchase" and 13.75a of "Addition to Smacks Purchase." Land borders Isaac Phillips and Cornelius Morris (WoLR-R:610).
