John Disharoon "of Accomack County" wrote his will on May 20 1772 and it was probated in Somerset Co., MD on Aug 19 1772 with the following provisions: - To Josephus Disharoon, brother, my land in Somerset Co. containing 200a - To Nuton Disharoon, £10 current money of Maryland, my riding saddle when he comes of age 21 - To Obediah Disharoon, my great coat - To Constant and Josephus Disharoon, the rest of my wearing apparel - Rest of my estate to be divided equally between my two brothers and four sisters - Appoint brothers Constant and Josephus Disharoon to be executors Witnesses: William Selby, Elijah Milbourne, Thomas Stanford (MdW-38:905)
An inventory of his estate was conducted by Constant Disharoon on Oct 17 1772 with largest creditors William Heath (as Hath) and Arthur Dashiell; next-of-kin as Francis and James Disharoon (MdInv-117:175). An accounting of his estate was conducted by Constant Disharoon on Dec 22 1774 for an amount of £51.6.7½ (MdAcc-70:369)
