K. Wilson Hitch Age 93, of Rockland Road, Montchanin, formerly of Northwood, died Saturday December 18 in the Wilmington Hospital. Mr. Hitch worked for many years as yard superintendent for the Walker, Snyder, Connelly Co. and Diamond Ice & Coal. After that he was a deliveryman for Penny Hill Flower Shop, retiring in 1997 at the age of 91. Mr. Hitch was a longtime member of the West Presbyterian Church where he was a Deacon. He was also a member of the Eureka/DuPont Lodge AF & AM. His wife, Gladys McRae Hitch died in 1981, his son, Phillip Hitch died in February of 1998. He is survived by his brother, George Thomas Hitch of Richmond, VA; and nieces and nephews. Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the MCCRERY MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville, where friends may call after 12 noon. Masonic services will be held for Mr. Hitch at 12:45 p.m. Burial will be in Lombardy Cemetery, Concord Pike.
