In her Maryland Death Certificate, it states "Amanda Hitch, born in Maryland, died on December 25, 1904 of pneumonia, age 68 years, 2 months, 5 days. Father and mother were Thornton and Mary (Wilson) Phoebus. The record is very hard to read.
