John Reddish Sr. wrote his will on Jun 20 1855 and it was probated in Worcester County on Mar 2 1858 with the following provisions:
-To beloved wife Elizabeth, a peaceful house and sweet habitation and not to be disturbed or suffer during her lifetime and sons William and John Reddish to see that she is well provided for
-To son William, all my real estate I am in possession of provided he pays his brother John Reddish $150 within 12 months the death of his mother
-Also William Reddish to pay my grandson John William Reddish and his sister Frances Reddish $10 to be equally divided betweem them
-To Son William, one bed/bed stead and furniture, one mare, one yoke of oxen, timber cart and ox cart
-To son John, bed/furniture, cow & calf or with calf, one desk
-To daughters Isabell, Lydia Ann, Susan, Mary, Lucretia, Lucinda and Sarah Elizabeth, one bed/furniture a piece, the rest has had their given to them
-Rest of estate to be sold and divided between my seven daughters so named
-To son Peter Reddish, $12.00 and no more
-To son William to be sole executor

John next married Elizabeth Goddard on 10 Jan 1810 in Somerset Co., MD.2 (Elizabeth Goddard was born in 1785-1790 in MD 4 5 and died in 1861-1869 in Worcester Co., MD.)
