From "A Hitch Orchard", Daisy Hitch Davies, 1931: This child died of diphtheria and is buried in the Riverside Cemetery, Fairhaven, MA. There is no record except what I remember my mother telling me. Other members of the family also recall his death and burial. He was very fair and beautiful. I have an old tin-type of him taken in his carriage and colored.
