This compiler is not sure the latter is true as it may be William Dryden of William for that marriage but still rfate the probability at 90% given the 1820 Census.
On August 5 1834, a William Dryden sold off all of his personal estate to William S.B. Cottman for $300 (WoLF-JCH1:105). Was this about the time he died?
