*Be aware that there are two contemporary John Hudsons in Worcester County, MD and BOTH have wives named Sophia! In 1850, this John is age 41 and John L. Hudson is age 40. John L. Hudson wrote his will in 1870, This John Hudson seems to have died intestate sometime in the 1860s as no will has been found.
The Oct 1828 Worcester Co., MD Orphan's Court notes that John Hudson, orphan of John Hudson, bound to McKimmey Smack until age 21. He is now about age 17.
John married Sophia (Sophy, Duffy) Watts, daughter of Henry Watts and Henrietta Mitchell, on 07 Feb 1837 in Worcester Co., MD.1 (Sophia (Sophy, Duffy) Watts was born about 1816 in Worcester Co., MD 4 5 6 7 and died in 1881-1899 in Worcester Co., MD.)
