In the Federal Census of 1810, Nancy Hitch is listed on page 327 in Little Creek Hundred, Sussex County, DE with two males under age 10, one male age 16-26, one female age 10-16, one female age 16-26, one female age 26-45, one female over age 45 and one "other."

On September 27, 1824, William O'Neal and Polly his wife, gave deed to Nancy Hitch in consideration of $100. The land was part of tract "New Survey" and contained a little more than 29 acres. All parties are described as "of Broad Creek Hundred." (SXLR-AN:310)

The 1860 Federal Census lists Nancy Hitch as age 90 in Little Creek Hundred, Sussex County, DE, born in DE.

Nancy married Levin* Hitch, son of Levin Hitch and Eve Price, about 1792 in Sussex Co., DE. (Levin* Hitch was born in 1755-1767 in MD and died 04 Apr 1802-08 Jul 1803 in Sussex Co., DE.)
