Fredrick Vernon Hitch was indeed born in September 1883 and died 26 Nov. 1967. He was the roundhouse foreman for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad in Covington KY until an on the job accident left him disabled. He was also a Mason as were so many of the Hitches (From an E-Mail from Kim Lalley, 1/28/2000).
Frederick married Jimmie Beatrice Wilcoxson, daughter of Quinton David Wilcoxson and Harriet Lane Kirby, on 13 Apr 1907 in KY.1 (Jimmie Beatrice Wilcoxson was born on 25 Mar 1887 in Pendleton Co., KY,1 2 5 died on 16 Apr 1981 in Boone Co., KY 2 and was buried about 19 Apr 1981 in Highland Cemetery, Covington, Kenton Co., KY 1.)
