On November 17, 1835, the Somerset County Orphans Court Proceedings state, "Orphan: Lecascy A. Hitch (of William A.) - Appointed Guardian: Thomas Hitch - Sureties: Robert Morris, Jesse Leatherbury" (Somerset Co. Orphans Court Proceedings 1829-38, Folio 290). Further, these records state, "Henry Trader and George W. Hitch to view estate of Lecascy A. Hitch, in care of Thomas Hitch, guardian." (Ibid.)

On May 18, 1837, the Somerset County Orphans Court Proceedings state, "George W. Hitch and Henry Trader to view estate of Lecascy A. Hitch, in care of Thomas Hitch" (Ibid., Folio 352).

There is a marriage announcement for her in the Aug 27 1844 edition of the (Baltimore) Sun newspaper.
