Mrs. Sadie B. Hitch, 68, formerly of Salisbury, died in Wilmington in the Delaware Hospital yesterday after a long illness. She was a native of Worcester County near Princess Anne, and a daughter of the late Warren and Mary Alice Carter Bounds. Mrs. Hitch's late husband, Linwood, a retired seaman, died in June. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Preston Hitch of Hollyoak, Del., and Linwood Jr. of Salisbury, Mrs. Beatrice Limp of Clarksville, Ind., and Mrs. Flora Brad of Wilmington; two brothers, Preston Bounds of here and Mervin Bounds of Baltimore, and a sister, Mrs. Lena Ruark, Princess Anne. Funeral services will be held in the Holloway Funeral Home Saturday at 1 p.m., the Rev. J. J. VonHagel, pastor, and the Rev. Frank A. Baker, assistant, of Grace Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Parsons Cemetery and friends may call at the funeral home Friday after 7:30 p.m.
