"Ed" Hitch Sr., 83, who had retired after 25 years as a mechanic for Farney's Auto Service in Latonia, died Saturday. Surviving are a son, Richard Jr. of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; five daughters, Janice Heeger of Covington, Dianna G. Glaser and Nancy Charlene Powell, both of Independence, Karen F. Irvin of Cincinnati and Faith E. Holmberg of Monroe, Mich.; a sister, Maebelle Troutman of Eaton, Ohio; 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Allison and Rose Funeral Home, Taylor Mill. The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill. Esther S. Switzer Richard married Evelyn Georgie\Georgia McFarland, daughter of Johnny McFarland and Myrtle Warren Crump. (Evelyn Georgie\Georgia McFarland was born on 08 Mar 1920 in Carlisle, Nicholas Co., KY and died on 13 Dec 1981.) |
