MRS. W. C. CAREY
Mrs. Daisey White Carey, 75, retired shirt factory employee, died Monday in Peninsula General Hospital after a long illness. She lived at 1731 Riverside Drive. Born in Siloam, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary White. Her husband, William Carroll Carey, died in 1968. Mrs. Carey was a member of Washington United Methodist Church at Shad Point. Surviving are two children, W. Newton Carey, Salisbury; Mrs. T.E. Dose, Dallas, Tex.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Hill Funeral Home. The Rev. William A. Turner, pastor of the Washington United Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Shad Point Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m.
