On May 25 1734, in her will Ann Leckie gave to husband Alexander. To grandson Huett Nutter Jr., son of John Huett Nutter, tract Contention, after death of husband Alexander Leckie with proviso that John Huett Nutter, son of testator, gives to his son Charles the tract whereon he the said Huett Nutter now lives; also any rights he may have in tract Nutter's Neck between Quantico and Monumee. To three children, viz, John Huett and Mathew Nutter and Rachael Piper, land devised to testator and sister Susannah Johnson, lying in Monmouth, South Wales, Great Britian. John Huett Nutter Extr. Witt: Daniel Cordrey, Rachell Cordrey, Elenaor Walker, Jane Walker and Alexander Leckie. Ann married Matthew Nutter, son of Christopher Nutter and Mary Dorman. (Matthew Nutter was born about 1678 in Somerset Co., MD and died before 05 Aug 1720 in Somerset Co., MD.) Ann next married Alexander Lokey. (Alexander Lokey was born about 1685 in Somerset Co., MD and died before 11 May 1743 in Somerset Co., MD.) |
