Obituary of Juanita Fuchs Hitch (2012, IN) (Juanita Hitch Obituary Juanita Emma (Fuchs) Hitch Evansville, Ind. Juanita Emma (Fuchs) Hitch, 85, of Evansville, Ind., passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Juanita was born in Evansville, Ind.,on January 22, 1927, to the late Walter and Lorraine (Vaubel) Fuchs. She graduated from Central High School in 1945. Juanita began her working career in bookkeeping at Finke Furniture then later worked in the bridal department at Stewart's Department Store and finished her career in the jewelry department at DeJong's downtown. She was a member of Central Turners, Friday Night Dance Club and also a member of Saint Lucas United Church of Christ, where she sang in the choir. Juanita is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jim Hitch, of Evansville, Ind; daughter, Kathleen (Jeff) Osborne, of Evansville, Ind; sons, Robert (Becky) Hitch, of Cumming, Ga., Ronald (Jane) Hitch, of Westfield, Ind; grandchildren, Scott (Angie) Hitch, Ted Hitch, Stephanie Osborne (Jeremy Dunn), Daniel Osborne, Kristin Hitch and Kevin Hitch; great-granddaughters, Eliza and Juliana Hitch. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers; and sister. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 26, 2012, at Saint Lucas United Church of Christ, 33 West Virginia St., Evansville, IN 47710 with Pastor Lynn Martin officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from Noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. Friends may also visit from 9 a.m. until service time at church on Monday.
