Benjamin Clayton PENNEWILL

Benjamin "Ben" Pennewill, 45, of Eden, died on April 29, 2025, at his home. Born on February 24, 1980, he was the son of the late William "Bill" and Lynn McGrath Pennewill. Ben was a true country boy through and through, happiest when he was outdoors and close to the land he loved. He found joy in hunting and fishing, spending countless peaceful hours in nature. Ben also had a passion for farming and logging, working hard with his hands and taking pride in a life built around the land. Whether in the woods, on the water, or in the fields, Ben's heart was always at home in the country. He is survived by cousins, Kitty Mulcahy and her husband Tim of Salisbury, Tom Aydelotte of Stuart, FL, Melanie Donophan and her husband Mark of Salisbury and, Pat McWilliams and his wife Michele of Salisbury. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Rev. Howard Travers will officiate.
