On Aug 4 1784, Joshua Morris had a tract "Joshuas Choice" surveyed for him for 150a. It was a resurvey of 85a of "Collins Chance" and added 65a vacant land. Since Joshua held this land, it is assumed his brother John Morris had died by 1784 since John had inherited the land from their father John Morris with provisions in the elders John's will that the land to go to Joshua should John die. (Worcester Patent No. 1455)
