Eleven Hitch's will was signed on February 24, 1837 and recorded in Blount County Will Book 1, folios 67 and 68. In it, he mentions his wife Lucinda; three youngest sons Archibald, Elias and James W.; son Eleven; sons Benjamin, Wise and John; daughters Catherine Graston, and Mary, Susan and Margaret Hitch. It also notes that son Eleven is "idiotic." Eleven married Lucinda (Lucy) Harris, daughter of Benjamin Harris and Unknown, on 18 Dec 1802 in Fauquier Co., VA.1 (Lucinda (Lucy) Harris was born in 1786 in Fauquier Co., VA,2 3 4 7 died on 27 Nov 1857 in Blount Co., TN 2 4 8 and was buried about 30 Nov 1857 in Hitch Homestead, Near Maryville, Blount Co., TN 3.)
