William Hamilton was a witness to Hezekiah Belote's estate on Jul 13 1795 in Northampton Co. : Belote (as Beloat) wrote his will on Jun 2 1795 and it was proven in Northampton Co. on Jul 13 1795: - To my beloved wife Susanna for life the use of all my land purchased of John Major, Smith Major and Arthur Roberts & wife, and then to Levin Belote, son of Levin if he pay 100 pounds money. If he refuses to pay, then for George Brickhouse, son of John Brickhouse Sr. to have the same land for 100 pounds. - To wife negro boy Natt forever and remaining estate during her life, then 1/2 of remainder equally divided between Levin Belote, son of Levin, and James Tathom, son of John - Wife and trusty friend John Brickhouse Sr. as executors Witnesses: William Roberts, Stuart Pettit, William Hamilton (NoVAW-29:452).
