Sarah's birth date comes from the Worcester Orphan's Court on Aug 31 1842 where it states she will be age 12 on Sep 15 1842 next and is indentured by Stephen Smullen to John Harrington to learn the trade of sewing, knitting and housewifery until she reaches age 16 on Sep 13 1846 (WoOCP-1842/48:38).
