Francis Jenkins patented "Hog Neck" on Oct 1 1683 (survey date) (Compiler's note: this lies along the Wicomico River at modern day Sharps Point).
On Feb 22 1754, Feb 21 1761, and Oct 13 1761, Jarvis Jenkins purchases parts of the tract "Hog Neck". The first is 100a from Isaac Crouch for 10 shillings, the second 95a from George Sharp, son of George, for 20 pounds and thirdly, 100a from John Crouch, son and heir of Isaac Crouch for 5 shillings. The third purchase seems to be just a confirmation of the 1754 purchase. (SoLR-B:21, C:76, C:102, respectively)
