Samuel Fisher Sr. and Samuel Jr. also show up in the Voter Registration Records for Kent Co., MD from 1871-1880 and 1883-1890. For the former they are in the 5th District and Samuel Fisher Sr. is indicated as age 59, born in Delaware where Samuel Jr. is age 21, born in Queen Annes Co. Both are indicated to have been living in Kent Co. for the past 10 years. There is a note there that at some point they were transferred to the 4th District. For the 1883-1890 roll, they are both in the 3rd District, residing in Castletown with Jr. as age 32 (born in Queen Annes Co.) and Sr. at age 74 (born in DE). They are both stated to have been 16 years in Kent Co. and 2 years in the district.
His death certificate states his father was Samuel Fisher and his mother's maiden name is "Smary"? Hard to decipher the latter. Both parents were from Maryland. He died at 930 East 17th Street in Wilmington on Dec 14 1923.
